Made in the Early 50's. Notice the Sheath, This is a PRE Pin & Ball. This Style Sheath was Discontinued around 1957.
Knife is in Mint Condition. The Single Waidblatt's are Hard to Find & one This Old in This Condition is Extremely Rare.

Mint Condition & Extremely Rare in this Condition.

Puma Model 959 & 996 Patent Jagdmesser

Puma Model 959 & 996 Patent Jagdmesser.

The 959 was made in 1972 & the 996 was Made in 1973. These Knives Came from Puma Custom Shop Made for the Kranichsteiner-Line. They have Polished Bone Handles Instead of Stag & Brass Bolsters Instead if Nickel Silver. All of the 900 Series Jagdmessers That Puma was Producing at the Time, the 941, 942, 943 ETC. Were Made in This Style for the Kranichsteiner-Line. Extremely Rare. Approximately Only 100 TOTAL of these were Made For the Entire Line.

Lauterjung & Sohn was the Founder of the Puma Werk Co. The name PUMA-WERK was Registered May 26th 1900, Before that they were Known as Lauterjung & Sohn.
This Knife is in Near Mint Condition for it's age. Very Rare & Hard to Find!
